New Adventures in Art
For a long time, I harbored a fear of using mediums like paint, ink, and watercolor. The precision they demanded seemed daunting, until a serendipitous encounter with a video on loose sketching changed everything.
The video introduced me to letting go of the need for meticulous control and instead, embracing the flow of the pen and the unpredictability of the strokes. This approach opened up a whole new world for me. It wasn't about mastering a technique; it was about unleashing creativity and expressing emotions freely.
As I delved deeper into this new style, I found myself falling down a rabbit hole of endless possibilities. Each piece became a journey of discovery, a way to explore different facets of my artistic voice without the pressure of perfection. This process became my sanctuary, a place where I could be truly fearless and free in creating.
I'm not deliberately pursuing this style for commercial reasons. The joy and love of creating are what drive me now. It's a deeply personal journey, one that continues to inspire and fulfill me with each new piece. This isn’t just about creating art; it's about finding a new way to see the world and myself within it.
